Anna & Adam

“The fabulous duo that is MOP! Thank you so much or ‘Grazie Mille’ for playing
such a special part of our best day ever! We think you’re amazing and so
ridiculously happy with our wedding memories”

The Italian wedding!! Anna and Adam’s wedding at Barton Grange Hotel in Preston was simply fabulous. The first time we met Anna and Adam we hit it off, you couldn’t wish to meet a nicer and more genuine couple and was overjoyed when they booked me to be part of their special day.

We started the day at Anna and Adam’s house where Anna and her sister were having hair and make up done. It was all very calm and relaxed when we arrived and it was a lovely start to the morning. After an hour or so some of Anna’s Italian family arrived at the house singing and dancing, WOW! It was absolutely fantastic and the start of what we knew then was going to be a fun and crazy day. Once the hair and make up was finished we headed a few doors down to Anna’s dad house where the girls would get their dresses on.

The family was at Michael’s house and the party was certainly starting here and it was lovely to see the love this family clearly had for each other.

On leaving for the ceremony there was some Italian traditions to be done from throwing sugared almonds instead of confetti out of the window to represent health, fertility and prosperity to the start of cutting of the ribbons, one on leaving the house to symbolise the beginning of a new journey and then traditionally ribbon would be put across the road every few hundreds meters all the way to the venue for the father of the bride to cut but obviously this couldn’t be done all the way to Barton Grange Hotel so Michael, Anna’s dad did the cutting of the ribbon a few times on his street before their journey to the hotel began. It really was a truly amazing tradition to photograph and be part of.

Anna and Adam’s wedding ceremony at the hotel was beautiful, it was jammed packed with family and friends. Anna looked stunning and Adam looked blown away when she arrived. It was a beautiful and emotional loved filled ceremony.

After the wedding ceremony all the guests headed to the gardens for welcome drinks, canapés and games on a glorious day. We took family, friends and group photos. We then headed off with Anna and Adam to do some portrait shots, it was like a walk in the park with them, the love they have for each other is outstanding and made my job so easy.

Everyone headed inside for the start of the wedding breakfast, the room was buzzing and the atmosphere was electric.

The speeches were full of fun, laughter and tears and were ended with a traditional toast with Limoncello.

Anna and Adam’s first dance was in true Italian style, the dance floor was packed with all their family and friends around them and once the music started Anna and Adam were wrapped in ribbons, confetti thrown and confetti bombs went off with a bang it was absolutely fantastic, they then partied the night away with their DJ Gary Mills.

Being part of Anna and Adam’s Italian wedding was one of the most enjoyable days we’ve had, Anna, Adam their family and friends couldn’t of made us feel more welcome and part of the day, it felt like we had known them all for years. We would like to thank all the staff at Barton Grange Hotel and we really do wish Anna and Adam a lifetime of happiness.
