Rebekah & Felix
“We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos, Simon went the extra mile,
his artistic flare & quirky style was evident from the get go. MOP fully exceeded
our expectations. Simon was professional from start to finish but at the same time we felt a real friendship by the end. We couldn’t recommend a more rawly talented photographer”
Rebekah & Felix’s New Years Day wedding at Mitton Hall in Clitheroe, what a way to start the new year off.
We arrived at Rebekah’s parents house where there was a height of activity going on with hair and makeup being started. Bridesmaids in every room, mum and dad fussing around, it was a lovely fun morning.
Once hair and make up was finished Rebekah went to get into her dress, she looked stunning and it was lovely seeing her dads face and how blown away he was, there was even a few tears.
The service was at Fulwood Free Methodist Church in Preston, at the local family church. Filled with family, friends and the congregation, packed to the rafters with over 200 people. It was a heart felt service.
Following the service tea, coffee and cakes were served in the hall whilst the bride and groom mingled. We ended there with the confetti shot at the doors and left the guests to carry on eating cake whilst Rebekah, Felix and myself headed off to Mitton Hall in front of all the guests to start some portrait shots.
It was a cold crisp day but we managed to get into the gardens and get some truly amazing shots, it was like a lovely Spring day.
The room looked gorgeous for the wedding breakfast, the meal was ended with speeches with lots of laughter and a few tears.
A close family member wowed the guests with some fantastic magic tricks before the first dance exploded with confetti cannons going off. Then outside to finish the photos off with sparklers before their party night carried on with their DJ.
It was a lovely start to the new year being part of Rebekah and Felix’s special day and being back at Mitton Hall. We would like to thank all the staff at Mitton Hall for looking after us as always and we wish Rebekah and Felix many happy years together.
