Hayley & Adrian
“Guys! Thank you once again for not only being our photographer for our wedding but for giving us many special memories that we are both going to cherish forever! The pictures are incredible! You have captured every single special detail including laughter and lots of emotion! You and Nic were brilliant from the word go until the end.
We will definitely recommend you to everyone”
Hayley and Adrian had a December wedding at Mitton Hall in Clitheroe, another stunning venue that is part of The James Places Group and one we love to work at.
It was an early morning start where we headed to the groom’s. Adrian was there with his brother Daniel who was so his best man for the day. One thing I’ll always remember from that morning is Adrian and Daniel having to you tube “How to tie a dicky bow”, it was a priceless moment and obviously it had to be photographed.
Then off to Mitton Hall to meet up with the girls, there was lots of laughing going on as we arrived to their room and it looked like the girls had had a crazy morning. Once hair and makeup was done we headed to the King Suite for the finishing touches.
The wedding ceremony was stunning, filled with their nearest and dearest the service was lovely, apart from the registrar getting the groom’s name wrong calling him Daniel, Hayley quickly corrected her but they both saw the saw the funny side of this as did all their guests. The registrar was left looking a little embarrassed. I’m sure it’s a moment that they will laugh and talk about for years to come.
Welcome drinks and canapés flowed. With it being a bit of a cold and damp day we took family, friends and group photos inside. On doing the confetti/snow machine shots Adrian managed to get a face full of the fake snow and a mouth full of confetti but as usual Adrain took it in his stride. The weather wasn’t going to stop Hayley and Adrain heading outside though for some gorgeous portrait shots.
It was time for the wedding breakfast, the room looked amazing and was filled with love and laughter. Whilst we took 10 minutes out we got chatting to Rae who told us he was a singing waiter and Hayley’s parents had booked him and nobody knew not even the bride and groom. Rae flitted back and forth serving food as to fit in and just before dessert was served Rae went through the room with his tray filled with cutlery and literally decked it right in front of the top table. Seeing the reaction of everyone was hilarious with us knowing what was about to happen, as a couple of guests got up to help him he broke out into singing and everyone roared laughing. Rae really got the room buzzing and it was a great pleasure to work alongside him.
The first dance was one I won’t forget in a while, they danced to The Overtones Save the Last Dance for Me, after a minute of so into the dance the music stopped and all of a sudden a selection of music started and Hayley and Adrian started a dance routine they had been practising and kept a secret from all their wedding guests, the faces of their guests was a picture. It made another fantastic photo opportunity and looked like they was having the time of their lives, especially Adrain. After that the party night carried on with Matt from DFC Lancashire.
Hayley and Adrian are a lovely, genuine and loveable couple who we hit it off with straight away and has since become friends with. We loved being part of their special day with amazing guests. We would like to thank all the staff at Mitton Hall especially Jen for looking after us as always. We wish Hayley and Adrian many many happy years together.
