Meols Hall, Churchtown Southport

Julie & Craig

“We just wanted to say thank you again for our wonderful wedding photos. We’ve have had so many lovely comments about them. You two are brilliant, you take such pride in your work and nothing is too much trouble, you made it relaxed and fun just perfect”

Julie and Craig married in April at Meols Hall in Churchtown Southport, WOW what a stunning venue. Julie was an old school friend of Nic’s so we was overjoyed when she came to a wedding fayre with her mum to book us.

It was an early morning start at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Southport where both Julie and Craig were getting ready before the ceremony at Meols Hall.

Hair and makeup was starting when we arrived at the girls room, the bubbles were already flowing and the girls were having a ball together. After some bridal prep we went off to find the lads for groom prep. We found them in the bar and just like the girls the drinks were flowing and they also were having a ball and we knew this was the start of a fun filled wedding day. Just what we love!

Once hair, make up and finishing touches was all done it was time to head off to Meols Hall. The wedding car arrived …. A 50’s Cadillac Fleetwood WOW!!!

The wedding ceremony room loved outstanding. The Tithe Barn is 400 years old and has been beautifully restored and I was excited to be photographing in such a venue. Julie looked incredible as she walked down the aisle being given away by her brother and you could see everyone was blown away. The service was filled with love, laughter and tears.

It had been a wet start to the day but had dried up a little for the guests to enjoy some welcome drinks and canapés outside in the courtyard and in The Coach House.

There was lots of family, friends and group photos taken which showed how much this couple was loved and what a great social side they had. It stay dry long enough for us to head off and do some portrait shots with Julie and Craig in these stunning grounds. It was certainly laugh a mount with these two and a lot of fun.

It was time for the wedding breakfast, the room looked amazing, the details Julie and Graig had gone too in creating this was breathtaking and a real credit to them both.

Evening entertainment started with their first dance played by the Funtime Frankies Band, what an amazing atmosphere these guys gave. The band carried on playing for what you could see was going to be a hell of a party night.

Julie and Craig are such a fun loving couple that we loved being part of their special day with. We would like to thank all the staff at Meols Hall and wish Julie and Craig a lifetime of happiness together.
